About the Frame:
It may share a name with a classic cautionary tale, but Akoni’s Icarus refuses to clip its wings. The design was inspired by the brilliant engineering solution of architects Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano, whose revolutionary plans for the Pompidou Museum highlighted components that are traditionally hidden within structures. That’s why this frame spotlights perfectly formed components that are more typically concealed. In addition, signature brand embellishments—recalling finishing touches that set apart luxury pens and lighters—also surprise, with their unexpected placements.
