Born in 2020, Midnight Rodeo's stated purpose is to build a lifestyle brand through the production of garments equally covetable and well-crafted. Midnight Rodeo is a harmony of vintage and Western Americana - with a modern persuasion. The pillars of the brand are due attention paid to beautiful, classic shapes and an eye for the iconography of past eras. Founders Jackson Ray and Joesph Bunn, unify their respective Texan and New York backgrounds to create an aesthetic language informed by their cultural inspirations and passions. Rich western heritage and nostalgic charm are paired with the present-day sensibility to reimagine traditional staples and create impressions that speak across generations.

Midnight Rodeo presented their first runway show during FW23 New York Fashion Week, and the sunglasses collaboration with Thierry Lasry was first revealed on the runway. The presentation "Persistence of Memory" is an exploration of the beautiful mystery of time, and the sunglasses shows the retro style and colors that link your mind to the time that was mystery and beauty.

The sunglasses are the exclusive custom version of the existing style "Vendetty" from the permanent Theirry Lasry collection. The style is a top-beveled rectangular frame that comes in a retro white bone pattern, gradient midnight brown/orange, and translucent vintage brown acetate with different solid colors & tinted lenses.
