The sunglasses are inspired by the sunglasses worn by the protagonist in the classic 70s film "TAXI DRIVER." The design team happened to come across the roof tiles of a building from the early Showa period, and boldly used them on the end pieces and temples. The temples and acetate modern elements were inspired by historical American eyeglasses from the 1960s. The sunglasses feature original 4-base glass lenses, developed in collaboration with the manufacturer to create the perfect color combination.
