EYEVAN

The source is German design from the 1990s, which influenced design team most in real time.

The teardrop-like square shape, which has been a trend in German design since the 1970s, also reproduces the somewhat narrow lens shape of the 1990s.
The overall design is very minimal, but there are variations in shape in different parts, such as the rounded inside of temple, the dots on the ball tip, the bridge, and the endpiece.
The color variations, such as the two-tone plating on the upper part of the rim like the brow, also express the feeling of the era at that time.

The sunglasses use the original “4 curve lens,” a Japanese-made glass lens that is made by mixing metal particles and other ingredients to create the color, then melting it and molding each lens individually.
